მიმღებს გადაეცემა ____________________ გასაღები.

Before you sign — 5 steps

  1. 1Write down the exact readings of all three meters — electricity, water, gas. These numbers close any dispute over old debts.
  2. 2Verify the handing-over party against the cadastre code in sivrce’s cadastre search — the act is signed by the contract party.
  3. 3List furniture and appliances item by item, with condition — at move-out the list, not memory, settles the argument.
  4. 4Write existing damage into “Noted defects” — the entry protects the receiver from blame for old defects.
  5. 5Fix the number of keys handed over — each party keeps one original of the act.

FAQ

Why is a handover act needed?

The act fixes the property’s condition and meter readings on a specific day. When the lease ends or the property is returned, this document settles what condition it was handed over in and whose utility debt it is.

Does a handover act need a notary?

No. The act is valid in written form with both signatures. It is an annex to the contract and needs no separate certification.

Who signs the act on a sale?

The seller and the buyer. The act is drawn up when the property is physically handed over — whenever the main contract was signed.

What must be in the act?

Parties’ details, the address, the condition, meter readings, the list of handed-over property and the number of keys. Leave a field empty if you have no data — but recording the meters is always better.

How do we fill it out together if the other party is in another city?

Fill it together on a video call: one party types while the other watches and confirms. Signatures go on when you meet, or exchange originals by courier — original signatures are the safest.
