Frequently asked questions
What does it cost per month to run?
A gas boiler on 60–80 m² costs about ₾100–200 in a winter month. An electric floor as primary heating is pricier — a seasonal average of ₾3–6/m² per month; day/night tariffs and thermostats save a lot.
Electric or water underfloor?
Electric — simple and cheap to install, great for bathrooms and small zones. Water — pricier install and needs a boiler, but cheaper to run on large areas. Whole-flat primary heating — water floor or radiators.
How many radiator sections do I need?
The calculator uses 1 section per 1.8 m² (standard ceiling, insulated walls). Panoramic windows, first/top floor and north exposure — add 15–20%.
Which boiler capacity should I pick?
A 24 kW combi comfortably heats a well-insulated flat up to 120–150 m² while also serving hot water. Above 150 m² or a two-storey house — 28–32 kW.
