Frequently asked questions

How much air does a flat need?

The norm takes the larger of two: 3 m³/h of fresh air per m², or 30 m³/h per person. A 60 m² flat for three — 180 m³/h. The kitchen extractor hood adds separately.

Is a recuperator worth it?

A recuperator returns 70–90% of the exhaust heat to the supply air. In winter it cuts heating costs by 20–30% and removes humidity without open windows. Pricier than the alternatives, but the only full fresh-air option.

Which ducts should I pick?

Round spiral (spiro) ducts are the flat and office standard — cheap and airtight. Rectangular ducts fit behind suspended ceilings and in cafes. Noisy zones need a silencer.

How long does installation take?

A recuperation system in a 60–120 m² flat — 3–5 working days including suspended-ceiling removal and restore. A 200 m² office — 7–12 days. Design and balancing are mandatory steps.
